Acriopsis is a genus of orchids and the sole member of its subtribe, the Acriopsidinae. It consists of about 17 species, and was established by Carl Blume in 1825. The name refers to its flower\'s resemblance to locust. This genus have been sighted throughout Indochina, Guinea, Sulawesi, the Philippines, the Solomon Islands and Northern Australia.
